Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I think a description of Siobhan Carroll's story "For He Can Creep" should be added to this page, with links to the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilate_Agno which discusses Christopher Smart's poem Jubilate Agno (Rejoice in the Lamb). The reason for this is because the story is a fantasy telling how Smart's cat Jeoffrey tries to prevent the devil getting Smart to write a poem in his (the devil's) praise. The last line of the section of the poem starting "For I will consider my Cat Jeoffry" is the title of the story "For he can creep."

Similar references should go the other way, perhaps under a heading similar to "This poem in other literature". I don't want to do it myself, as I do not have enough experience in editing Wikipedia pages myself. BudgieJane (talk) 23:09, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
