Notability tag

[edit]

This article has a notability tag on it but I don't know why. I am going to revert and ask for an explanation. Thank you. --Kleinzach 05:18, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is not clear how this person is notable from the article as it stands now. It says what he does, where hes studied and some of the works he's performed but that could be written of any singer. How does he meet notability guidelines? What sets him apart from other less known or even unknown tenors? Has he won any awards? Have his recordings been on any charts? Additional citations to references in reliable 3rd party sources will help establish is notability.--RadioFan (talk) 13:19, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
He's been recorded by 5 major recording companies. Surely that's enough to establish notability? As for charts, he's not a pop singer! Can you please remove the notability tag? --Kleinzach 15:44, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
