[edit]I added "written alone." Pratchett wrote Good Omens with Neil Gaimen more recently. 14:43, 21 March 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.50.201.98 (talk)
- No he didn't. Good Omens was published in 1990, six years before Johnny and the Bomb. Toxicbreakfast (talk) 10:58, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
The book has already been published. I received my copy from Amazon Germany on Saturday. --164.139.7.10 (talk) 09:45, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
should the artical be changed to reflect the fact its a childrens novel as stated on the discworld wiki Lspace? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.149.127.90 (talk) 11:03, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Children or young adult?
[edit]The article doesn't state: Is this a novel written for children, teenagers or young adult? Itzcuauhlti (talk) 05:37, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- Nor should it. This is an error promoted by marketers of books, not real booksellers, librarians or readers. In this case, the book is written for bright, highly literate children, teenagers, young adults, and geezers like me. --Ampwright (talk) 16:12, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Octopus
[edit]It says that Dawkins was bitten by a tree-climbing octopus, but in the book it says simply that it "had [him] by the leg," which could mean that he was grabbed and not bitten.Zaporozhian (talk) 20:23, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Dating
[edit]Did anyone read the Author's Note? As usual, Sir Terry will not allow you to pin down time or location. If it were the 1870s, no one would be using flintlocks, and where cost was no object, a steamship would be more likely than the Cutty Wren. The author points out that history has moved a little differently. --Ampwright (talk) 01:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Tree Climbing Octopus
[edit]I always thought it meant "spider". wouldnt that make sense? i mean they thought Daphne had no toes cause she was wearing shoes, a large spider has 8 legs as an octopus has 8 tentacles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.13.157 (talk) 04:07, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- More likely a reference to the Pacific Northwest tree octopus. strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 08:46, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
