Photo req

[edit]

Regarding the reqphoto tag. There's a photo on the German page, if anyone can be bothered commonsizing it. —Pengo 01:45, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image name in German wikipedia is Fransenlipper.JPG. A user in German wikipedia could assist in moving this image to commons. Thanks in advance. - Dragonbite 04:57, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Photograph request tag removed; obtained the GFDL-image from German wikipedia via Wikimedia commons. - Dragonbite 05:45, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

conservation tag

[edit]

why is it inapropriat for the article?--HighFlyingFish (talk) 15:58, 23 February 2010 (UTC) | status = LC[reply]

Listing a status of "Least Concern" implies that the species has been assessed by the IUCN, and is included on the Red List in that category. This species isn't included on the IUCN Red List. Conservation status should only be included for species where conservation is an issue. A lot of articles (currently c. 600) have used "LC" or "secure" on articles where they don't belong, and these are being phased out. --Stemonitis (talk) 08:02, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing Information

[edit]

I've seen some confusing information in the aquarium section. This part makes no sense:"No actual breed sequence has been documented in an aquarium setting. Although known to be egg-layers, reproduction of rainbow sharks is difficult in an aquarium setting." So, is it bred in the aquarium setting? Or not? Honestly, I don't know what to do about it.SuperPayara 02:38, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
