Leibniz
[edit]I have added GW Leibniz as a correspondent. He was a critical contact for Leibniz with the English scene in the early days, but after his death, in his dispute with Newton and Clarke, he had no allies in the Royal Society. Reference? I only have with me Leibniz Biography by Antognazza p88-89. btw: My login no longer working. BernieL
- Thanks. Yes good idea. And, Sir William Curtius seems to have corresponded with both Oldenburg and Leibniz. Can we identify other German correspondents? Somej (talk) 00:04, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
Royal connections?
[edit]Does he have any specific link with the House of Oldenburg? Can't find anything on German or French Wikipedias about this. Torchist (talk) 17:01, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- He is connected to the city of Bremen. Does the House have any connections to the city of Bremen? warshy (¥¥) 21:43, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- Since you're referring to a Royal dynasty, then, from everything I've seen about him, I would conclude he does not have any apparent relations to it. Thank you, warshy (¥¥) 19:51, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
