OMNY timeline
[edit]@Epicgenius: Thanks for adding the timeline. With the old NYCT Committee materials I took pictures of, we should create the timeline for MetroCard.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 01:52, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Kew Gardens 613, I think so too. Do you have links? Perhaps in the future the MetroCard page could become a Good Article (probably not in this condition though). epicgenius (talk) 01:53, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Epicgenius: Looking back at the documents, I might need to corroborate it with other sources, including subway maps and brochures in my collection, but I doubt I would have time to do so during the school year.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 17:41, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- Kew Gardens 613, take your time. I just started the new semester myself and will probably be busy for the next few months. epicgenius (talk) 17:48, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

I just reverted an unexplained removal of the timeline. The list of stations without readers is not useful, because implementation will be done by the end of the year. However, the timeline table is useful in supplementing the prose. Epicgenius (talk) 23:21, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
OMNY status
[edit]@Epicgenius: I don't think I will have time to add this to the article, but there was a presentation by Al Putre about OMNY at the October 29 NYCTRC meeting, which you can add stuff from if you want to. It goes into more detail than presentations at the MTA Board.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 15:50, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Kew Gardens 613, thanks for the info. I'll look into it soon - may take a while though, since I can skim a document more easily than a video. epicgenius (talk) 16:24, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
Installation of OVMs (OMNY Vending Machines) has begun
[edit]As reported in a Reddit topic https://www.reddit.com/r/nycrail/comments/16p1122/new_vending_machines/ the OVMs are being installed in the Fordham Rd station on the 4. The info I have gotten (from another source) indicates that the Fordham Rd station on the B/D will get them, as well as Junction Blvd (on the 7), Atlantic Av and 86 St & Lex. No exact dates given on the other installations nor has any date been given as to when the machines will go live. 65.88.88.10 (talk) 19:37, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
