Flag icon and formatting of Honours etc

I disagree with the flag icons and bolding of dates under Kerry Sanderson#Titles, styles and honours, so I removed them. However another editor restored them.

I still disagree with them. In particular:

The flag icons do not add any encyclopedic value, so - per WP:ICONDECORATION - they ought not be there.
MOS:BOLD lists the occasions for which bold styling is appropriate, but none of those apply here.
