Scope[edit]

Is this the full extent of sources on the periodical? If so, would it make more sense to cover it within the Liu Shifu article or a dedicated article on the Cock-Crow Society if more sources exist on that? czar 01:36, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Czar: I'm not sure. Two main reasons here: 1. Chinese publications before 1978 are hard to get access since most (if not all) of them do not have an online version, so it's hard to know comments to Huiminglu then. 2. The translation of Huiminglu varies. I've seen "Huiming lu", "Huiminglu", "Voice of the people", "Minsheng", etc. There is a dozen of sources available in both Chinese and English, and some of them may even meet WP:SIGCOV, like the libcom one, but most of them just give a brief summary or introduction to the magazine (many sources of names listed above are in this way). Personally, I think it's fair to merge it to "Cock-Crow Society" if there's an dedicated article.--ときさき くるみ not because they are easy, but because they are hard 08:48, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
After checking twice, now I'm sure it could not meet Wikipedia:GNG if we only cite online sources. Yet I think it will occupy too much space if merging to Liu Shifu.--ときさき くるみ not because they are easy, but because they are hard 09:18, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
