Death

The only historical document in the references cited here is the Perth Government Gazette of 1842. It states not what is claimed in the article but that nobody knows what became of Anderson nor his crew. Newspapers at that time were making sensationalist claims - similar to newspapers today - about piracy, murders, and outrageous behaviour and yet the court let him off leniently. There appears to be a difference between what the media claimed and what the justice system found based on the evidence. 182.239.146.143 (talk) 01:34, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
