Tests by 163.153.27.171

[edit]

I recently visited a page and it said that I had a new message, curious I read it and found that someone had apparently been doing some tests outside of the sandbox.

If there is any vandalism or any distructive behavior from this IP I appologize in advance, but it is nearly unavoidable as this is a school network. 163.153.27.171 13:40, 2 December 2005

you've just destroyed a very elegant proposed tool EOM

Sorry, was reverting slower than you did and reverted your edit as well. I have to get more RAM I guess, then I can be faster. Ben T/C 01:17, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

are you sure Blastwave should be in Category:Sun software? very little of the software was written by Sun, and it's not distributed by them. k.

G'day Quaque,

it may surprise you to learn this, but I don't believe "Non-notable fan fiction" is part of the criteria for speedy deletion, much though I wish it were. Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 11:53, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with your concerns over the user's behaviour. However, these two articles (unlike the one I speedied) have no been through AfD. We can't go around speedying stuff as punishment; the articles have to go through the proper procedures. fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 13:04, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merging single articles into album pages

[edit]

I have provided rationale at Talk:Christina Milian (album) and Talk:Goodies (album) for why I merged the single articles into the pages for the albums they originated from. Please take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Music/Notability and Music Guidelines/Songs, and leave a comment at its talk page if you have any outstanding concerns. Thanks. Arbcom candidate userbox

[edit]

Greetings. I've made a new userbox for arbcom candidates to show on their userpages so that visiters will know they're running.

{{User arbcom nom}}

If you'd like to place it on your userpage, feel free. Regards, – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 02:29, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quaque has earned a Cernen's Plusbox for making fun of userboxes at the millionth topic pool.

Arbitration committee elections

[edit]

Hi, you are currently standing in the Arbitration Committee elections.

If you aren't already aware, you are only attracting a vote of under 20% support to 80% oppose. This is mostly due to perceptions of a lack of experience.

Statistically, your vote is unlikely to rise above a 70-80% supermajority threshold required for election.

Therefore, it would be helpful if you would withdraw your candidacy from the election. This way there will be less candidates for others to read through before deciding their votes. The best place to announce such a decision would be on your candidate statement on the vote page, or on WP:AN/I, IF you choose to withdraw.

Better luck for the future. --Victim of signature fascism | help remove biblecruft 19:12, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Art Jewelry Forum

[edit]

Hello, I am working on a pet project to help digitize information about the field of metalsmithing+jewelry. I started with making a page for Art jewelry forum (AJF), and have a list of artists that I would like to make pages for as well. The AJF page has been nominated for deletion because it is questioned if the organization is "notable". I am reaching out to you because I saw that you edited some pages that relate to studio craft, and thought you may have an informed opinion (unlike the mathematician who nominated the page for deletion) about whether or not it is a "notable organization". If you have an opinion, one way or another, please way in on the articles for deletion discussion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Art_jewelry_forumClarefinin (talk) 21:08, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
