The screenshot is not from the C64 version, and I don't recognize the version. It could possibly be the arcade version. Mikkel 18:34, 22 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I looked at the wrong picture. :P Mikkel 18:35, 22 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If I remember well, part of he success of hte game is that (on the Amstrad versions at least) the gates were almost impossible to pass from the 5th or so. One of the hardest games I ever played.--SidiLemine 12:00, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a wiki-person, so hopefully someone can take a squiz at this and update accordingly.

Super Grenade

[edit]

Wasn't there a Super Grenade in the NES version? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.191.17.168 (talk) 02:46, 26 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Yes, which destroyed all on-screen enemies at the time, and there was also an unlimited-grenade bonus in underground bunkers (though if the player is shot and killed, they lose the upgrade when they respawn) TyVulpine (talk) 20:16, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prequel to Bionic Commando?

[edit]

In the PS2 compilation Capcom Classics (volume 1) it is stated that Bionic Commando featured the same character as in this game. So technically isn't Commando a prequel? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.124.190 (talk) 09:52, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Commando.gif

[edit]

Image:Commando.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
