The Central District of Kangavar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کنگاور) is in Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kangavar.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 80,215 in 19,825 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 80,845 people in 22,649 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 75,443 inhabitants in 23,071 households.[2]
