Image of new AC design

[edit]

I think it's entirely warranted that a picture of Barret's FF7AC design be included. Not only is it discussed critically throughout the article, it would be freakin' awesome. Axem Titanium (talk) 15:06, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the only reason I didn't add it though was because through google search I wasn't able to find a really good shot of it (I was aiming for the poster of him standing facing the viewer, which shows the design in fully). Even the Reunion file has it partially covered with text. :\--Kung Fu Man (talk) 17:43, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"Freaking cool"-ness aside, there's decent rationale for it to be the page's second-image. Find one, and you're good to go, I think.Luminum (talk) 19:54, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article title

[edit]

Is "Barrett Wallace" really the WP:COMMONNAME for this character? I personally did not know that was his last name until coming across the article - I don't believe he's usually referred to by his full name. It seems like "Barret (character)" or "Barrett (Final Fantasy)" would be more in line with Wikipedia article titling. Thoughts? Sergecross73 msg me 14:30, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A very belated reply, but: I think the title is appropriate because fictional characters are better disambiguated with their in-universe full name than the name of the work, even if their full name is fairly obscure (I'm not sure "Wallace" ever appears in the original game, outside the manual). That's why Linus van Pelt is an article title whereas Linus (Peanuts) is a redirect. —Kodiologist (t) 14:43, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
