- I just cleaned it up a bit; it should constitue as 'notable' now.--69.145.122.209 01:32, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Let's do this
Let's expand this article and add some pictures to it.
Format
I changed the format from "digital download" to "7" single" because that is how substantially every single was released in 1978. Even if the song is now available as a digital download, that wouldn't bear on how it was originally released. --Metropolitan90 05:56, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- I just copied/pasted the Wake Me Up When September Ends box, so I may have left it there by accident. --69.145.123.171 18:49, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
I am positive that I heard this song sung by kids (but not Kidz Bop; I am sure of that) . It was on the Kidstuff music channel on Comcast, several years ago. And the phrases "warm beer" and "draft beer" were changed to "root beer". Anyone ever hear it? :::: —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.154.59.124 (talk) 18:03, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

misheard lyrics
can't believe I'm the only one who for the past 40 years (right up to today) thought he sang " French-fried cicadas" 2600:1700:F90:BF60:C59F:5F83:C57F:81C (talk) 18:06, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

Cheeseburger in Paradise (song) → Cheeseburger in Paradise – move is controversial; pageviews were used to justify it, but the pageviews were almost the same and are only one part of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC anyway; the restaurant is defunct and the song is not; with only 2 pages, a DAB page is not needed. — AjaxSmack 18:46, 30 June 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). 162 etc. (talk) 04:51, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- The restaurant may have been defunct, but the assumption that the song is the primary topic just because it's first and original seems... I dunno, far-fetched? Furthermore, the pageviews stats may change, i.e. the restaurant might get more views than the song itself. The novel Doctor Zhivago has gotten less views than the film adaptation since the move a dozen years ago. —George Ho (talk) 19:13, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Contested undiscussed moves should be reverted. See WP:BRD. WP:RM is your next step. 162 etc. (talk) 22:06, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Ditto. The very existence of this discussion makes it a WP:RM case. — AjaxSmack 02:07, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- The restaurant chain may have been defunct, but its past existence may have done a lasting impact. I.e. Its long-term significance is no less than the song's; I don't see how the song's is greater than the restaurant chain's. Same for viewership. George Ho (talk) 02:19, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
