The Boeing 737-221 is a subvariant of the 737-200 produced for Pan American World Airways. The customer number 21 was assigned by Boeing for all aircraft it produced for Pan Am. Many of the aircraft were used on Pan Ams intra-Germany services and for short haul European flights.
