"Gas Panic!"
Song

"Gas Panic!" is a song by British band Oasis, featured on their fourth studio album, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.

Written by lead guitarist Noel Gallagher, the song is noted for being influenced by Trip Hop, but also has a psychedelic feel like the album. It is about Noel's panic attacks which he suffered through depression and substance abuse. It is a fan favourite, but hasn't been played live since 2002. A live version, recorded at Wembley Stadium on July 21 2000, can be found on the Familiar to Millions record. The demo of the track was released as a b-side on the Japanese edition of the "Who Feels Love?" single.

It was also released in Brazil as a promo-only single, it is seen as a huge collectors item for any Oasis fan.

Trivia

Gas Panic! is also the name of a chain of nightclubs/bars in Tokyo.
