Merrol Hyde Magnet 7th Grade

You posted Merrol Hyde Magnet 7th Grade on WP:AFD. However, this article fits under the speedy deletion criteria explained here. Please read these. This will help you to not create unnecessary AFD subjects. --Theunicyclegirl (talk, review me!) 20:40, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I saw that you put an NPOV tag on the article for the Haskell-Baker Wetlands. However, you did not provide a justification in either your edit summary or the article's talk page. I wanted to inform you that another editor has removed the tag. If you'd like to participate in the discussion, I encourage you to stop back by the talk page and put in your two-cents. By the way, I'm guessing by your username that you are a KU fan. I myself am an alum - go hawks. Take it easy. CharacterZero | Speak 04:27, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:MC logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:MC logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:44, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Rockford

Honestly, to me, they are nothing more than a club I think. What you would have to do is find out if they are under some national association, like the NBA or NFL. If they are, then they might be notable. If they aren't, then I would have to say no. I would have to look into it a bit more before I can say delete.--Kranar drogin 22:40, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Deadspin082207.PNG

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Deadspin082207.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Asking for help on WiKUpedia project

Hi Petejayhawk,

My name is Jarrod and I'm currently working on a project called WiKUpedia, with the goal of providing the one-stop shop for all things KU. We've had a tremendous response from the community since we went live on Sunday but we need help organizing and improving the wiki. We decided to reach out to experienced Wikipedia editors working on the WikiProject: Kansas. You can read a little more about our project in a news story in the Lawrence Journal World Btw, I think I've seen you around on Deadspin or the KUsports message boards, my user name was Jarrodhawkfan. I would love to have someone clean up the Kansas athletics section and make it more in depth than Wikipedia currently has.

Please feel free to take a look around our project and if this sounds like something that interests you, please respond on my talk page or by email. Thank you so much in advance. Jarrodm (talk) 04:48, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds great! We could use some help with a lot of the sports content and organization. Our articles for Kansas Athletics are pathetic. We are also GFDL compatible so reusing Wikipedia content is acceptable, as far as I know. My long term goal is to have this bridged to a WikiProject: KU, there is no way we are letting Mizzou get ahead of us on this... :) Jarrodm (talk) 17:30, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
