KAEF is a television station in Eureka, California (licensed to Arcata}. The station runs programming from the ABC network. KAEF is a full-power television station that operates with 141 kw of power and is owned by Bluestone Television.

KAEF began broadcasting on August 1, 1987 as KREQ-TV. Before, ABC programming was carried in part by stations KVIQ and KIEM in addition to their primary affiliations with NBC and CBS, respectively. In addition, local cable systems offered Redding ABC affiliate KRCR-TV on cable.

KAEF-TV currently does not offer local newscasts, just a 5 minute weather report at 11pm before Extra. The only programs of its own are Friends, Extra, Cristina's Court, and Judge Alex; all other programming is controlled by KRCR-TV.
