Unlisted music scores from the movie
- Stan Bush, who performed the songs "Dare" and "The Touch" for the 1986 film, recorded and submitted to the producers two songs for the soundtrack which were remakes of "The Touch" and the theme to Botcon '97 retitled "Till All Are One", but neither one were included. He would go on to include these tracks on the re-release of his album In This Life.[2]
- Coheed and Cambria originally wrote The Running Free for the soundtrack, but when the producers decided not to use it, they instead adapted it for their album No World For Tomorrow.[citation needed]
- "Battle Without Honor or Humanity", an alternate version of "Shin jingi-naki tatakai", an instrumental piece by Tomoyasu Hotei, is played during the scene where Bumblebee updates his body styling to a newer version of the Chevrolet Camaro, while in the Detroit tunnel.
- Avenged Sevenfold's song Almost Easy was originally planned for the soundtrack but was not finished in time.[citation needed]
