Keep track of your questions

Wikipedia has many places to ask questions, such as the:

Sometimes, a user will post a question and forget all about it. It is easy to forget about these unless you keep a record of the questions you posted to refer back to later. One useful method for doing this is to set aside a section of your User page or Talk page, to keep a list of links to your queries. In this list, you can place section links which lead directly to the subheadings (AKA sections) under which you posted your queries.

Hello!

Hmmm, can anybody see this? (See how badly I need to be adopted?)

Anyway, I hope all is well with you and that this note finds you fine. I am a real geek, in the sense that I get a weird high whenever I learn something new, and I regularly check Wikipedia for interesting items on an almost daily basis. Here, I read about the indie music scenes throughout the world, I learned about the familial origins of languages and I even read a bit on homosexuality laws around the world. I feel that Wikipedia is a great website, because I love reading and learning new things and I feel that I can contribute to Wikipedia especially because I live and hail from the Middle East. I have been reading stuff on how to contribute on Wikipedia for AGES. (I had a previous account, which is still active actually, but I would want to use this one because it actually has a screen name instead of using my real name; just to maintain discretion). Anyway, these guidelines and the jargons and the editing styles are just too confusing. Whenever I tried to read up about something, it redirects me to another page, and that kind of loses me.

Anyway, you seem to be an interesting person, I live in Jordan and our timezone is GMT +2, so if you feel that our timings match and that you think I'd be an interesting adoptee, please adopt me!

Thank you so very much for reading this. Pheras,
