The Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi is an annual friendly football match, it was founded by the president of A.C. Milan Silvio Berlusconi in memory of his father Luigi Berlusconi, and should be against a different opponent each year who has won the Champions League. It takes place at the stadium San Siro in Milan.
The first edition took place on August 23, 1991 between Milan and Juventus and has since then been between those two teams, except for the years between 1992 and 1994 where the Rossoneri faced Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The football rivals were pitted against each other at the beginning of August every year. The 2006 edition was postponed until January 2007, because it was not possible to organize it in August due to fixtures in the UEFA Champions League for Milan and the Coppa Italia for Juventus.
The trophy has been won 10 times by Milan and 8 times by Juventus.
