Will Kirby
Template:Big Brother Contestant Dr. Will Kirby, (born January 2, 1973), is an osteopathic physician and an American television personality. He was the winner of the American reality television show Big Brother 2 and came fourth in Big Brother 7: All-Stars.
Early life
Born in Florence, Italy, Dr. Kirby was raised in Tallahassee, Florida where he graduated from Florida State University School.
In 1995, Kirby received his degree in Biology from Emory University. He obtained his degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2000 and did his first year of postgraduate training in Internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center & Miami Heart Institute in Miami Beach, Florida in 2001. His dermatology residency training, which he completed in 2007, took place in association with Western University/Pacific Hospital of Long Beach where he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology. While living in Miami for postgraduate training, Kirby originally applied for Survivor, but was placed in Big Brother 2 instead.
Entertainment career
After Big Brother 2, Kirby hosted NBC's Love Shack, and served as a medical correspondent for Extra! magazine.
In 2005 Kirby was on Battle of the Network Reality Stars, again with his friend, Mike Malin and appeared in Big Brother 7, All Stars Edition, where he came in fourth place in 2006 after being evicted by his showmance, Janelle Pierzina.
Kirby appeared as himself on a one time episode of the Young and the Restless in late October 2006, and also appears on the E! Channel television series Dr. 90210. He made appearances in an episode of LA Ink, Chelsea Lately (August 2008), Reality Bites Back (September 2008), Reality Obsessed (October 2008). Kirby co-hosted Yo on E! on several occasions during 2008.
Kirby appeared on the November 17, 2008 episode of The Doctors for a consultation about jock itch.
Medical and professional career
A Board Certified, licensed physician in California since 2002, Kirby's medical practice is limited to Clinical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Kirby also launched a skincare line, Kirby Dermaceuticals and is part owner as well as medical director of Dr. Tattoff, a branded tattoo removal service in the USA. In October of 2008, Kirby became spokesman for Neutrogena's new anti-aging product, Retinol NX.
Other
Kirby and Mike Malin were not only allies on the Big Brother shows, they also became friends, and are co-owners of the Dolce Group which operates a variety dining establishments across the United States.
