Translating French Jacques Félix Emmanuel Hamelin Article

FaerieInGrey, Thankyou so much for offering to do that. I see you haven't been here that long, so unless you want to, don't get too hung up on the intricacies of linking and categories etc. I can easily do that once the text is in English. Sing out if there's anything else I can do. Regards -- I@n 08:00, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent job. Thanks again -- I@n 14:10, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Updates

Welcome again to Wikipedia. Thank you but what did I do?--Dakota ~ 20:06, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well you do a great job also. Thank you. Have seen these anti vandalism tools [1] some really handy js to help with anti-vandalism.--Dakota ~ 20:15, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually you were right the first time. The edit you reverted was a vandalistic personal attack from a banned editor. Thanks for your help anyways. --LBMixPro<Speak|on|it!> 20:59, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm too new to respond on your talk page, but the reason I didn't mean to revert it was that it was on a talkpage and I wasn't sure those were allowed to be censored as such. ♥ FaerieInGrey 00:12, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

YOU DELETED MY ARTICLE!!!!

HELLO, I AM THE PERSON WHOSE ARTICLE YOU DELETED. I APPRECIATE YOUR CONCERN FOR THE FEELINGS OF OTHERS. I WAS SIMPLY TRYING TO EXPRESS A THOUGHT SHARED BY MANY THROUGH A NEUTRAL POINT OF VIEW. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THAT VANDALISM AND REFRAIN FROM DELETING MORE TRUTHFUL ARTICLES IN THE FUTURE. I THANK YOU. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS COMMENT.

Please sign comments using four tildes, as I'm not sure who you are...? Which article are you speaking about? ♥ FaerieInGrey 22:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OH, SO YOU DELETED SO MANY TRUTHFUL ARTICLES YOU CANNOT REMEMBER WHICH ONE IS WHICH? OH WELL, I DON'T BLAME YOU. I SUPPOSE I WAS A LITTLE TOO OVER THE TOP. FORGIVE ME IF I OFFENDED YOU. I WAS TALKING ABOUT THAT RELIGIOUS ARTICLE.

Don't worry, you just deleted some rant about Christianity. Best. --Lo2u (TC) 22:31, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, thank you.♥ FaerieInGrey 00:12, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I stand behind my deletion of your comment, and no, I have never deleted a "truthful article" to my knowledge and never intentionally will. ♥ FaerieInGrey 00:12, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The correct spelling is devoloped and not developed?? =| --70.18.248.120 05:09, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article was coming up as the spelling being "developped", which is why I was reverting it back to "developed". ♥ FaerieInGrey 05:10, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! I'm sorry! I corrected a "developped" to "developed" mistake which the person then reverted - I saw your edit as the person reverting it again, but you were fixing a different mistake. Big apologies! ♥ FaerieInGrey 05:22, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks...

... for the barnstar!!! -- Lost 12:46, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did not vandalise any article on Bulbasaur

You asked me not to vandalise articles as i did to Bulbasaur, this cannot be true as I had not visited the said article until you notified me of its presence, perhaps the ip address was confused with mine.

Your VandalProof Application

Dear FaerieInGrey,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen 11:59, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for that vandal catch on my main page. Much appreciated. Good luck on the minumum edits. Hope you qualify for VP soon. Rsm99833 22:42, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, thanks for working on Neopets plots; that article's rather rough with all the random anonymous people that had been adding to it! —AySz88\^-^ 01:12, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know

Hi FaerieInGrey (nice user name). I just wanted to let you know that the spelling correction that you made in this edit [2] was actually in a piece of vandalism. It was funny because when I went to rv the bad edit I was looking for the word you corrected so that I could still fix it and it took me a sec to realize that it was in the middle of the vandalism. Please don't think that I am complaining I just wanted to let you know.

As a WikiGnome one thing that I have learned to do here at wikiP is if I find vandalism (especially from a anonymous user) I click to find their contributions. I then check everything that they have done that day. I usually find other articles that they have hit. In fact that is how I found this one as the same user had messed with The Seven Samurai article. I hope that this is of some help and I wish you continued happy editing here at wikipedia.

P.S. your real name is quite nice too. In looking at your reading list I would like to recommend Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson. I don't think I have read many authors who use the english language in quite such a special way. I can also recommend the Artemis Fowl series of books. As Harry P's tales have grown more serious I find these a fun alternative. MarnetteD | Talk 02:36, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yikes I just realized that the edit summary I made in fixing the referenced vandalism is a bit rude. I wrote it before I searched out your talk page so I want to apologize if I have caused offense. MarnetteD | Talk 02:40, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was doing spellchecking since I was too tired to revert vandalism (I actually warned someone by accident by doing that once). I use Live Spellcheck, so I occasionally make somewhat strange spelling corrections - wish I had read the whole thing before just fixing the spelling. I just looked at the words immediately surrounding and they looked fairly tame. My mistake.

Thanks for fixing the vandalism, and don't worry about the summary. I would have wondered about it myself! I will make note of your book suggestions :) -- FaerieInGrey 02:00, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for informing me. Also, is the French version of the article featured? It's listed as so from the English article, but the French one doesn't show any star or such symbol at the top. If its been downgraded, then could u check if there are any reasons given on the talk page; or maybe if it's had a peer review? --Bluerain talk 08:08, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the French article would've had a lot more than that. But anyway, thanks for your help. --Bluerain talk 08:30, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly i was merely correcting a error.

. someone had put that he had sold 100 copies, and the certification was "plastic" when its a wellknown fact that he has sold 150,000 on his first day. i wasjust correcting some kids vandalizing him —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 137.186.248.76 (talkcontribs) 22:20, November 18, 2006).

WOW

how is a legitamite certification plasic? and how would have have sold 100 copies

Your simply reverting it to the inaccuracies before I posted. Good job you handicap —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 137.186.248.76 (talkcontribs) 22:22, November 18, 2006 (UTC).

What I was reffering to would be "Gunit fanboy get out. the game raped lloyd banks just accept it". Perhaps what you were replacing was false information that needed to be replaced, but the info that you replaced it with was vandalism. Also, I suggest that you not refer to anyone as a "handicap" as that is considered a Personal attack. -- FaerieInGrey 19:32, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

so, where do u live, i am only 15

hey how do i do that thing u do, does it cost?

Just so you know, this is a shared IP address. I don't know who's been vandalizing Wikipedia, but it sure wasn't me. - TAS

Hi,

You are down as a member of the WikiProject on user warning layout standardisation. I and a number of editors for the last couple of months have been working on the harmonisation of the current warning message templates, at WP:UW. I have spoken to a couple of other members of your project, and I would like to merge it and it's talk pages with ours. If you still have interest in the project or would like to participate or have any thoughts on the combined projects please let me know. Any other problems don't hesitate to give me a shout. Regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 10:58, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on the Manitowoc, Wisconsin article. You beat me to it! You were one step ahead of me. I was looking up which warning template to apply to the vandal when I saw that you had already warned seconds ago. Then I saw you had just reverted the vandalism. GREAT JOB! Royalbroil T : C 01:53, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome and thanks for leaving me such a nice message! It's nice when people notice you silently working in the background to keep things clean. -FaerieInGrey 01:55, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It was great to see that fresh vandalism on my watchlist was already addressed before I could get to it! I just gave final warning to the vandal, so next step is requesting a block if it happens again. Royalbroil T : C 02:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How?

How do you create a page? I really want to add something onto this amazing site that isn't currently here. Let me know how to do that and it will be a big help.

                                                Thanks A Bundle,
                                                     Stickmath
First, just wanted to say welcome to Wikipedia! I'll leave you the welcome message with the helpful links on your talk page :) -- FaerieInGrey 22:11, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:UW future?

Hi FaerieInGrey,

Sorry for the blatant spam, but you have yourself down as interested at WikiProject user warnings WP:UW. There is a discussion on going here that might be of interest to you about the future of this project. There are two strawpolls on the talk pages and the second one is about the future of the WP:UW project. Now we have the end in sight we are looking at wrapping up the project and merging it with Template messages/User talk namespace WP:UTM and creating a one stop shop for all userspace template issue. As you have yourself down as interested in this project we thought you may have some input on this issue, and would like you to visit the discussion and give any thoughts you may have on the matter. Cheers Khukri 10:20, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up! I hadn't been watching in a while, so I'll be checking up on it now. --FaerieInGrey 18:39, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Taskforce

Hi,

Another Wikipedian, Cocoaguy, and I just created a Salem Witch Trials task force. If you are interested in history, Massachusetts, colonial America, witchcraft, or instances of religiously motivated violence, then this is the task force for you!

So please check it out!

Sincerely,

Thanks for uploading Image:Candyland boardgame.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

WikiProject Horror needs your help

FaerieInGrey : You've received this message as you are listed as a WikiProject Horror Participant.
