When I use the browser's "back" button, it goes back once and then back to this page. This is extremely annoying.

So you got the DVD early?

And again it's been leaked to BitTorrent WELL BEFORE the release date. FOX must have an inside spy. 142.161.175.26 (talk) 06:19, 2 November 2008 (UTC) idontsignnoth'in! NO-HOME-RULE-IN-ULSTER![reply]

When adding links to material on an external site, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Matthew (talk) 23:37, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New mailing list for Wikimedians in Ireland

Hello Occono:

I'm delighted to announce that we've started a new Ireland Wikimedian email list, that you can join, at mail:WikimediaIE. For Wikimedians in Ireland and Wikimedians interested in events in Ireland and efforts in Ireland. It's there to to discuss meetups, partnerships with Museums and National Archives, and anything else where Wikipedia and real life intersect. --Bastique demandez 16:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hijinks Ensue (webcomic) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Your signature

At the moment, you signature reads:

--<color=orange> Occono </color> (talk)

I think you meant it to look like this:

--Occono (talk)

The coding for that would be:

--<font color=orange>Occono</font> (talk)

My bad - I forgot the quotations marks:
--<font color="orange>"Occono</font> (talk)
As you can see from my current sig (soon to be changed back!), it works: -- Phantomsteve (talk) 10:28, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I put the speech mark in the wrong place! This is the correct version:
--<font color="orange">Occono</font> (talk)

I noticed this too. I've created two other options for you:

--Occono (talk)

--Occono (talk)

I hope one of them suits your needs. Cheers, hmwithτ 13:42, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Look at your sig in the section below, you need it to say "orange" instead of just orange. hmwithτ 13:44, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. Your user signature seems to have rendering issues in some browsers. It can overlap with others' comments, as visible here. New USER = I REALLY need help!

Dear Occono!

Thank you for your note! You seem to be a lifesaver. I'm quite dissapointed, because I've been trying to put together my husband's page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%A1szl%C3%B3_Marton) for a while now, and it's a complete disaster!

First I got a tag saying I'm not citing sources or references and when I did, I got another tag saying: "This article or section appears to have been copied and pasted from a source, possibly in violation of a copyright." THIS IS NOT TRUE, so how do I prove it?

Everything I quote is from a book I, MYSELF wrote about my husban's theatrical work, or I'm citing (with dates and names) theatre reviews, which is quite natural for a theatre director.

Please, let me know what is it, I'm doing wrong!

And thank you for the cookies! :)

Thank you!

Dear Occono!

Thank you so much for your information. I understand. And yes, I read the page on Conflict of Interest.

I can state that there is nothing subjective about the page I created. STRICTLY FACTS.

I'm waiting for further assistance.

DvornicsekDvornicsek (talk) 01:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Occono, I wanted to say thank you as well. Not every editor says "hi!" and gets the ball rolling in the right direction for those who need a hand the most. We are slowly poking around with the László Martonarticle, a user subpage, and discussions on our talk pages (lots of places) so take a look and let us know if you have any thoughts.Cptnono (talk) 14:32, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm close, but I try my best not to panic. Thank you! DvornicsekDvornicsek (talk) 01:35, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Occono!!! Dvornicsek (talk) 18:35, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: removal

I saw that the ones you removed were non-living people, which those can be removed for, due to a fair use image being okay and more reasonable to find. Wizardman 18:13, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

odd request

Hi, you asked here what "DA" is. The initialism is spelt out in the title of the page: "date autoformatting". This is now a deprecated function. If you'd like more information, please buzz me on my talk page. BTW, I don't understand the left-arrow redirect thing in your edit summary. Tony (talk) 03:41, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was mentioned in the article which I had listed as a reference, but through my own fault it hadn't been cited properly so I can understand why you removed the statement. The Full Points Footy website is referenced to in hundreds of Australian rules football wikipedia biographies and is one of the most reliable sources available on the web for this sport. His half-time smoking is also referred to in a book that I have but I'm not confident on how to properly cite literature. However if you think a second citation is required I'll see what I can do. Got to learn someday!. Cheers. Jevansen (talk) 22:05, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't know :(----occono (talk) 09:35, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, lots of people don't check first anyways. FWIW, you also can't prod something that was prodded before (as is also the case with blah) 76.66.192.144 (talk) 09:48, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for reverting my Onion edits - my faith in WP is restored. I should have known when to quit, and not added the cocky bullet point on the Onion page, yea? Aaadddaaammm (talk) 19:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Occono!

I really needed that! I'm pretty disappointed at this point, I don't see the end of the tunnel, but this gave me hope.:) Dvornicsek (talk) 04:03, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chinface

See the other concern - non-notable neologism. I've seen no evidence as to why it is notable enough for a standalone article. Ironholds (talk) 00:16, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WOW!!!

You really boost my self-confidence! :) Thank you! 208.124.200.218 (talk) 13:20, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DMHO

I didn't mean to mark my revert of the DMHO hoax article as undoing vandalism - did I? I reverted it because the text within that box, a direct quote of the original Web site, has been much discussed over the years; a sudden change to it made by an anonymous IP without backup can safely be assumed as an error, I think. If it gets returned with backup, then fine! - DavidWBrooks (talk) 19:36, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was too lazy to put in a reason for that revert of an anon ... I probably should have. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 19:45, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prop 8

Sir,

I don't understand your motivation on canging my Prop 8 edits. Seems unnecessary. Please refrain from changing them, only if they do not coincide with the gay agenda. Seems nit picky to keep changing same-sex and homosexual. These terms are interchangable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brucejenner (talkcontribs) 21:28, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Occono!

I wanted to write you too, but you were faster than me! Feeling fine? NO. Feeling amazing! :) Thanks to you and an other unknown stranger friend! Thank you for your kindness, help, welcome cookies, and your comment that made me laugh during the crisis: "I will defend your article with my life!" :) You were AMAZING and without being emotional, I must say: wikipedia would be a happier place with more Occonos! :) Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
