Template:United Football League (2009) team The Florida Tuskers are a professional American football team.

The city of Orlando, Florida was awarded a franchise in the United Football League. Their home stadium is the Citrus Bowl, with an October 30 game against the Las Vegas Locomotives to be played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.[1] Jim Haslett, former head coach of the New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams, is the franchise's first head coach.[2]

On August 12, 2009 the official name of the Florida Tuskers was announced. It was also announced that Tampa Bay Rays owner Stuart Sternberg had bought interest in the team.[3]
