Destroy Build Destroy is a live action program on Cartoon Network. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 and 9:00pm.

Plot

Destroy Build Destroy is a game show hosted by musician Andrew W.K. in which two groups (a "green or blue" team and an "orange or yellow" team) of three teenage contestants get to destroy various objects, then build vehicles out of the wreckage. The show features high powered explosives, rocket launchers, bazookas, and other dangerous weapons. The winning team gets $3,000 as a prize, the losers' creation then gets destroyed by the team of the winning vehicle.[1]

Development

The show launched on June 20, 2009 in Carver, Massachusetts [2]. This is part of a new Cartoon Network programming block named CN Real. The second season of the show is due to premiere on November 4th.

Destroy Build Destroy is produced by Mess Media in association with Idiot Box Productions. The executive producers are Dan Taberski and Scott Messick.
