Pumped-storage schemes

Power stations & categories

Hi, I just want to let you know that articles about power stations should as a rule only be placed in the approp. power station categories and NOT in the super-category, i.e. Category:Geothermal energy. (I just removed a bunch of them.) Regards, Cgingold (talk) 07:52, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA

I hate to be the one who has to do this, but I'm afraid I closed your RfA early since the consensus is sadly very clear that the community doesn't feel you're ready yet. I know it's not a pleasant experience, but don't be too disheartened by it all. If you feel you can better serve the community with the extra buttons, then get to know the areas you want to work in- WP:RPP, for example, can always benefit from helpful comments by non-admins and non-admins participate in many other admin areas. If your wish is to work in CSD, then you would need considerable experience of patrolling Special:NewPages and tagging articles that meet the criteria. If you spent 6 months considerably broadening your level of experience in the "behind-the-scenes" areas that admins work in and found yourself a good nominator- an experienced admin is best- you may have a good chance in a third attempt. Hi, I am happy to see that you are training yourself. The practice for pictures like File:Antarctica 6400px from Blue Marble.jpg which have been featured pictures (or current candidates) is that the page is not deleted from Wikipedia. For talk pages of pictures, I dont' delete project tags, but others may. Projects are tracking these for some reason, and this is the way to connected them to commons. Any other method would be more work, copying talk to commons and checking attribution is correct. Or making a list of pages move to commons for a project. GeoGroupTemplate for Indian power stations

Hi Rehman, I believe this it is OK to have "GeoGroupTemplate" for the list of power stations in india. We can hide different category of power plants and make it more informative. Lets have it on this list.
