Fair use rationale for Image:You Are Not Alone.jpg
Image:You Are Not Alone.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Why was my change removed?
I was not logged on, but it is true that Michael Jackson has angel wings in the original version of the video. I don't know about your software, but this is not the way. I may not always be able to get references for a particular fact, but in cases such as this I know it, because I've seen it myself. This video was apparently featured in Jackson's HIStory in Film collection, and our local music station took it from there a long time ago. If you don't believe me, look here:

Lyrics
Don't you think we should put the lyrics of the song in the page?

Music video
In this video there are scenes of confusion and loneliness vs peace and safety. the renaissancian style was used in the temple scene which portrays an ideal logical world of peace and safty. Nudity or semi_nudity is a part of this style that helps embossing the logical world and humanity as the centeral issues of this style. but the opinion from Mr.Taraborrelli just focuses negatively on semi_nudity and ignores the style and message within it, I think we better mention this point about the renaissancian style somewhere before the critical reaction to the video. --X7000matrix (talk) 22:29, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- Mr. Taraborrelli was (for the most part) documenting how the media reacted to it. He then added his opinion, which is a common opinion with regard to this video. Do you have any third party sources for the interpretation you just mentioned? Best. — R2 14:13, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
No, but we are talking about the style and structure of the video, it isn't something depending on the critical opinion or personal opinion, So I don't think a third party source be necessary and mentioning it helps the readers to have a better understanding.cheers. --X7000matrix (talk) 19:33, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Your description is original research so we can't use it I'm afraid. — R2 00:17, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
The initial scene of the temple is a replica of Maxfield Parrish’s (http://americanart.si.edu/eyelevel/images/parrish.jpg) Daybreak.
X Factor Finalists
Should it be noted that the X factor Finalists from Season 6 are covering this as a charity single? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.100.221.196 (talk) 16:10, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- Of course, and I'm sure it soon will be. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:27, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
People, this article is about the Michael Jackson song. Please do not start hijacking the article by shoving in chart performances, etc. for the X Factor cover version. Keep it short, concise and to a minimum. Scarfy (talk) 12:36, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Have a look at the section about the X Factor cover of Mariah Carey's "Hero". This will probably end up about the same size as the section there, especially if it becomes as big a hit. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 13:40, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
The semi-nudity made no sense and was a bit disconcerting; one wished they would put their clothes back on, It's clearly a reference to Maxfield Parrish's "Daybreak". If you're confused, you don't know the reference. 216.93.213.191 (talk) 06:02, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
R Kelly version
Should a new section be created for this? The song is slated to be the final track on his "Love Letter" album. Love Letter [1]
