Re: 68.186.144.156 edit of 2 Jan 06

First, thanks for participating on this page. I encourage you to sign up for an account - click "Sign in / create account" in the upper right corner. It's easy and free.

That said, I'm not sure if I agree with your recent edit. It's true that no source is cited for the statements about size exaggeration, but I hardly think they're necessary. Having worked in adult retail and kept up with the industry for a couple of years, the statements you erased are simply common knowledge among those in the industry. I can't cite an academic source to that effect, though I could track one down, I imagine. But if you want the word from someone besides myself, I clearly remember Seymore Butts discussing a possible cast of his phallus in his show Family Business, and he encouraged the caster to add an inch or two to his (theoretical) dildo. If you're in the mood you could watch the first two seasons of that show, which is pretty good anyway.

Point: It may not be common knowledge among those outside the adult industry that adult stars exaggerate their measurements in various ways, but it is common knowledge among those who do it for a living. I'd like to hear from you on this, because I don't see what the problem is. --George 19:05, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Penis Size

Lexington and his agent claim that his penis is 11 inches (27.94 cm) long, but Lex Caliber - a sex toy actually molded from Steele's penis - measures 13 inches from the tip of the urethra to the bottom of the base (11 in or 28 cm including the vibrating part on the Vibrating Lex Caliber). Sex toys molded after porn stars are usually inflated to larger than life proportions [1]. An on screen measurement of his endowment can be seen in the porn video "Lewd Conduct 3". The measurement showed him to be about 9.5 inches.

Why repeat a paragraph from the article here? The measurements of Lex Caliber were reported as 9.25 inches long in [2] which was later changed to 3.25 inches here [3], then to 9.25 inches [4] and to 9.75 inches [5] and 13 inches [6]. So the sex toy size is uncertain and in any case does tell us nothing about the penis size. 69.10.154.72 05:47, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Since this is appropriate here and my edits are constantly being removed for being inappropriate I shall reword them. It is of note that his penis size is larger than normal and as such no citation should be neccessary for the said comment. I removed the 'citation needed' mark due to the fact that proof of the size could be obtained via pictures (which will not be posted here.) which obviously place it at an above 5 inch average. I tried to remove the word 'Best' which could have been the other point of dispute, but this change was being reverted too. I am editing in good faith and will be working to obtain an administrator if my comments are deleted again. Klichka (talk) 04:55, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You could have actually said this in the first place, rather than abusing Wikipedia to make a point. Xihr (talk) 06:02, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was not the one removing a discussion, although this point is moot and I'd rather not derail discussion any further with this here. Klichka (talk) 18:45, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deep Throated

I believe that Lexington was also deep-throated by Bobbi Bliss, a female pornstar known for her deep-throating skills. It's kind of hard to verify that kind of stuff though.Aoa8212 20:31, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Penis enlargement surgery

I know there's a cite tag there already, but could someone get on a source for the paragraph on Steele having penis enlargement surgery? I can't google up a source for it, and I can't recall ever hearing about during my time in the retail business. Thanks. - George 19:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I couldn't find anything on it either. That's why I broke the surgery out into its own paragraph and slapped a cite tag on it. If someone doesn't provide a cite for the text after a month or so, I'll kill the paragraph entirely as unconfirmed. Tabercil 23:07, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

corner of Madison and Lexington?

This intersection does not exist in Manhattan, as they are parallel with another Avenue (Park) between them. However, the 6 train is known as "The Lexington Avenue Line" as it runs along that Avenue when above 33rd Street. Either way, this needs to be changed regardless of what the source says. 24.39.129.45 17:21, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a footnote about this. __meco 17:50, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's OK. My theory is that the people who conducted the interview and/or typed it up made the flub, because that seems like an awfully dumb thing for anyone who ever lived in NYC to say. come to think of it, the "Madison" reference is completely irrelevant, and there's definitely not a stop with Madison in its name on any of the MTA lines. Maybe we could change it to say that he got his name from the "Lexington Avenue line" and still reference the interview, without getting into the specifics of the interview which aren't true. 24.39.129.45 21:49, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When I originally wrote that paragraph I went looking to try and figure out what station he got off at and I couldn't work it out. So I wrote what intersection it was... here's what the original said:
"...I was traveling to mid-town to visit a client, and I got off the subway at Madison, and Madison let's you out on the corner of Madison and Lexington Avenues..."
So does that make it any clearer where he got off the subway at? Tabercil 23:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's pretty obviously a play on Remington Steele. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sochwa (talkcontribs) 02:59, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with penis size information

The information in this article is used as criterion for inclusion in the list at Human penis size#Men famous for their large penis as well as Category:Men with unusually large penis. Now, more than 50 names have been included, and there have been objections raised strong enough that both the list and the category are currently targeted for deletion. Placing this posting uniformly on the talk pages of the articles concerned, I would firstly encourage editors to make sure reliable sourcing is provided to support the claims regarding penis size. Secondly, editors might wish to involve themselves in the discussions taking place at Talk:Human penis size and Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. __meco 14:06, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How many "Best performer" awards?

Either Rocco Siffredi says that Rocco won the award three times, or I'm going crazy. ausa کui × 09:32, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jenna Jameson as Racist

Because of her flat refusal to do interracial, Lex has called out Jenna Jameson (and others) as a racist. Since porn is acting, it is like a TV actress (or whatever) saying she won't act with black men due to the possibility of "hurting their career." In my opinion, Jenna Jameson is indeed racist (she has said in numerous interviews that she will not "do" Black or Hispanic). Here is the interview with Lex: http://www.rogreviews.com/interviews/lexington_steele2.asp? This should be added to the article. --99.135.248.16 (talk) 19:34, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Niall Kendall ??

Why on Earth was 'Niall Kendall' added in parentheses to Lexington Steele's name ?? I could find no reference to this name on any of the links. So I deleted it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.30.195.208 (talk) 04:44, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
