Incorrect designation

The article title and disambiguation page say he was a pilot, but he was a navigator/WSO. -Father Inire 03:01, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 21:12, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rank?

Article says he is a "Lieutenant Colonel", but somehow, that seems a bit out of place for WSO on a F-4. Any ideas or and sources on that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.154.204.152 (talk) 18:25, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death

The date and even the fact isn't confirmed, just presumed and unverified. I'd change it myself but I don't really know how the persondata templates are used so I'm not sure if you can put non-standard data (like "presumed to have died in 1988") in them. 110.175.198.4 (talk) 02:23, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I second my predecessor. I also don't know how to change this, but please someone change it. There is no direct evidence that Ron Arad has died (though this is widely presumed at this stage), and no evidence what so ever that he died on 1988. The fact that the last known contact with him was on that year cannot make it his guaranteed time of death. One could think of many scenarioes where he continued to be held captive past that year, and his captures did not want to make contact with the Israelis for some reason. These would be speculations of course, but they are enough to warrant the change. 109.186.40.196 (talk) 17:41, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
