Ha cha cha cha ?

Ive seen many impersoniations of Jimmy durante having his "ha cha cha cha" phrase, but Ive been trying to look for Jimmy durante actually saying it himself, anyone that can point me in the right direction?

A song

I once heard a song, which I belief was sung by Jimmy Durante. I cannot remember the exact lyrics, but it went something like 'One day, I read a book'...and at the end he sings 'I might read another book again'. I would love to get hold of this song - what is the title?

Fair use rationale for Image:Jdurante.jpg

Image:Jdurante.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Mrs. Calabash

I think that referred to his first wife or an early girlfriend. He exposed that secret in an interview sometime during the 1970s. I heard it on the radio. It's unfortunate that no one seems to have saved it anywhere, and the needless guessing games continue. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 02:43, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The following comment was posted by the above anon IP in the article. I am reposting it here.

I think your bio of Durante (and others I've seen) fails to mention his other equally famous theme song "You gotta start off each day with a song even if things go wrong...." then the music trailed off into his routine. 96.229.5.211 (talk) 07:38, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"You're the Top"

Cole Porter refers to Durante in his song You're the Top : "...you're the nose/on the great Durante". MBG 119.11.11.165 (talk) 10:30, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No. It's a measure of his wide recognition and popularity. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots 17:06, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BTW...date changed for "Frosty the Snowman" to 1969, when the show was introduced. Confusion with the song, which was released in 1950 (not 1951). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frosty_the_Snowman —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.255.191.6 (talk) 02:45, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Singing

I think there should more mention in the article re the re-birth of Durante's singing especially of the repeated use of his recorded songs in the Ephron movies.Dcrasno (talk) 03:38, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
