Is this enough clean-up, or is there something more specific that needs to be addressed? -Aabha 14:51, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- I am going to address his return to Ajax, and the Holland 1990 remarks which are of the mark.
Vieira
Someone put in: "Ironically it was Rijkaard's presence that forced Vieira to leave Milan for Arsenal in search of more playing time." I've removed it since Vieira arrived at Milan in the 1995/96 season when Rijkaard had already retired (after leaving for Ajax in mid 1993). Divad 13:55, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

jojo
it first says Rijkaard is of Surinamese descent and than it says that he is of African descent. Surinam is NOT in Africa, but in South America. Needs updating.
one can be both of surinamese and african descent

is he acting as an asst coach for this world cup? i saw him on the sidelines in today's match against portugal (in a white polo like the other coaches, etc). just curious. --74.65.173.130 20:26, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
Dubious Information
Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information [1]. Please correct this issue and leave a note here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alfmaster#Footballers.27_European_goals, to warn this person about putting improper information on Wikipedia. --Palffy 21:16, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Birthplace?
Was he definately born in Amsterdam? The article in Paramaribo says that he was born there. Clearly someone is wrong! --Gavinio 11:41, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Character
I find the article to err a little on the tendentious side, with multiple references to Rijkaard's 'quick temper' as a player. In the Netherlands at least, he was seen as a gentlemanly, soft-spoken person already during his playing career, and the Völler-incident was viewed as being very much out of character. So to attribute this to him as a character trait on the basis of one incident seems a tad unfair. Robbert o154 (talk) 17:09, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Why
Anyone knows why a professional footballer spit another professional footballer (behind his back)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.3.224.9 (talk) 13:38, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Sporting and Real Zaragoza
If he played for Sporting CP and Real Zaragoza, why are these clubs not included in the infobox? – PeeJay 14:22, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
