Game Insight is a developer and publisher of mobile games and social games with headquarters in Moscow and San Francisco. The company was founded in 2010 by Alisa Chumachenko, who had previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for Astrum Online Entertainment. Game Insight is known for creating numerous top-grossing free-to-play games for both iOS and Android such as Paradise Island and My Country, and for creating the first hidden object game on Facebook, Mystery Manor.[1]

Game Insight’s game portfolio currently includes more than 30 free-to-play games, including mobile games for Android, iOS, and Amazon, as well as social games for such social networks as Facebook, VKontakte, Nate, and Yahoo! Mobage Japan localized in 24 languages and running in 140 countries. The company has more than 400 employees in 11 countries.

History

Game Insight was founded in 2010. That year, the studio launched its first game, Resort World, for the social networks VKontakte and Facebook. The game was so successful that it was later ported to mobile platforms. Paradise Island for Android was the top-grossing game on Google Play for more than 26 straight weeks.[2] In 2011, Game Insight’s game roster reached 50 million MAU.[3]

Management Team

Game Insight has five key management team members:

Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Alisa Chumachenko is the original founder of Game Insight, and had previously worked at Astrum Online Entertainment as Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. She left Astrum in 2009 to found Game Insight.

Chief Operating Officer
Olga Skvortsova originally worked as a public relations manager at Russian PC and social game publisher Nival, but left that company in 2010 to join Game Insight. Her duties include overseeing game production and daily operations.

Chief Producer
Leonid Sirotin previously worked at Astrum Online Entertainment, as well as at his own studio. In 2009, his studio became a part of Game Insight and went on to release the social and mobile game Mystery Manor. He oversees development of mobile and social titles.

Vice President, Business Development
Darya Trushkina previously worked as an investment consultant before joining Game Insight. She coordinates global business development and oversees international publishing for all of Game Insight’s game titles in the USA, Europe, Canada, Latin America, and Asia.

Chief Marketing Officer
Alexandra Pestretsova's experience includes one year as a researcher for a browser-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (BBMORPG), two years at major publisher Noviy Disk (a studio responsible for launching games such as Unreal Tournament and The Witcher in Russia) as community manager, PR manager, and online marketing manager, and two years as marketing director for a developer and publisher of BBMMORPGs before joining Game Insight as marketing executive.

All of Game Insight’s games use a freemium business model, so that players may download and start playing them free of charge, and purchase in-game currency and items if they wish.
