Rollback

(add requestview requests)

I have autopatrolled rights, I request rollback rights, too. My goal is to expand my edit capacity, since there are many pages on my watchlist. Egeymi (talk) 21:08, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have been using Twinkle To revert vandalism for a while and think Rollback would help. I have STiki rights and was told that if I applied for Rollbacker i would get access to Huggle as well. ♠♥♣Shaun9876♠♥♣ Talk Email 23:30, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I looked at your reverts and they generally look fine; however, I'm not a big fan of user talk page blanking, especially when that person is requesting a tool and access to Huggle (which rollback will do). One needs to be able to facilitate communication with those questioning the actions taken when working with vandalism. One needs to also be open to both negative and positive feedback, and by your blanking of your page after posts while not offering an explanation or discussion when a couple of recent issues were presented to you [1] [2], I do not feel you are ready. Rollback has been removed on more than a few occasions because the user did not respond to questions posted to their talk page. Are you aware of user page archiving? Calmer Waters 02:30, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I didn't know about that. I'll retry and archive the files. ♠♥♣Shaun9876♠♥♣ Talk Email 03:07, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

BetterSkatez (talk) 01:07, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Hello and Welcome to Wikipedia. Please come back when you have experience with reverting vandalism and a good understanding of Wikipedia policies. I suggest you aim to make 500 more edits before you request this right or reviewer again. Please do not let this discourage you, your help is appreciated! -- Cheers, Riley Huntley talk 01:16, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Though I didn't start out wanting to fight vandalism specifically, ended up having to. I have been editing significantly and watching a bunch of articles, from both subject expertise and interest, and on many of them have to keep undoing vandalism. Examples are John B. Watson, William James, Homo habilis, William S. Sadler, American Psychological Association and so on. No edit I undid as "vandalism" has been reverted; every case I reported to WP:Administrator intervention against vandalism has led to the user getting blocked. I try to AGF as much as I can before reporting vandalism. I am new only in the sense of time, not in edits, and have been the most-significant contributor to 3 DYK articles (sole editor so far on George M. Stratton, major editor on Irving Gottesman and Ira Nadel, copy-edited William S. Sadler though definitely not a 'major' contributor there, peer-reviewed Meth Mouth and a couple of other articles, and rewrote about every line of George Armitage Miller. I have read the relevant policy WP:Vandalism and the essays at the end, and understand the difference between edit disputes and vandalism. Thanks. Churn and change (talk) 03:55, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would really like to use the new tool and am looking forward to the tools, I believe it would be better than just using the fast tool of WP:STiki, and I would find it more useful and creative to observe the article with these tools, it is why I would appreciate more from this source and possibly others tools in order for the stability of Wikipedia articles, I have been waiting for a while to use this so I could keep editing without than just finding vandalism on STiki, may I please have the request for the use of Huggle? --GoShow (...............) 04:15, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Take it slow at first and remember there is a difference between test/good faith edits and obvious vandalism and how they are handled as far as communication. Calmer Waters 05:18, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have rollbacker and reviewer flags in Russian Wikipedia (proof here). Николай95 (talk) 08:07, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
