Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies.   •  Not done The article needs major work before you need to worry about images. Most likely the article will be deleted as it is about a book that hasn't been published. The source of the image is "The Hindu", which was intended for public awareness. I will provide the questionnaire with suitable and right information. Can you please confirm my account?

Hi, I created this account about two days ago, and have since made 210 edits on 106 pages. I don't mind waiting out the autoconfirmation period, but the problem is that I've been trying my hand at RCP lately, and been doing a pretty good job, but now the WP:AIV page has been semi-protected for 6 hours following some dynamic-IP vandalism, which means that I won't be able to report any vandals. I suppose I could leave my reports at the talk page as edit requests, but I'm not sure how likely it is that they'd be noticed. I feel like I could be a big help to RCP — my reports have brought about 3 bans already, one of a user that I don't think anyone else noticed. — further, Francophonie&Androphilie sayeth naught (Je vous invite à me parler) 11:28, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
