Hello, I'ver been a registered user for some time now, but I've only edited 1 page. I feel I meet the spirit of the law in qualification for autoconfirmed/confirmed status in terms of account creation length. From what I understand I need this status to be able to save books in the collection tool (user page level). I am compiling medical research into more readable formats and the tool has been invaluable. Sadly, I keep having my pages cleared from the One Book. I would like to avoid making edits just to attain this status rather than for their own sake. I've been a supporter and donator to the Wiki project for years now. Is there something I'm missing on saving books?

Add logo of emblem to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Paul_College_(New_South_Wales)

Currently there is no logo associated with the John Paul College, Coffs Harbour article and I would like to add one.

File can be found at: "https://twimg0-a.akamaihd.net/profile_images/2399196820/jpclogo.jpg"

Name: John Paul College, Coffs Harbour, black and white emblem.jpg

Description: The picture is John Paul College's updated logo or school emblem designed with black on white. It encompasses the words "John Paul College", "Coffs Harbour", "The", "Way", "Truth", "Life" and a large "M" symbol.

This is a copyrighted, non-free work, but I believe it is Fair Use

Used in the article: John Paul College (New South Wales)

It's a Logo, sourced: https://twimg0-a.akamaihd.net/profile_images/2399196820/jpclogo.jpg

Used for primary means of visual identification.

It will be minimal (reasoning): This picture is solely for visual identification of John Paul College as there is minimal identifying photographs on the article. This photo will only be displayed in the quick reference box similar to that of most Schools such as "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Joseph%27s_College,_Hunters_Hill" and most organisations.

Further information: This file has no explicit copyright affiliation, however, I wasn't completely sure of its stance.

I would like to replace outdated information on the article Cars.com, including the posted screenshot of the homepage. I am a full time employee of Cars.com, but am not an owner of the company. Jonroark (talk) 07:44, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, several years ago I had editing rights and created two Wiki pages - Wenvoe and Ynysforgan. I have now obtained further valuable information which I wish to append to those pages to make the historical interest to the reader much more appealing. Thank you Squirrel64 (talk) 10:24, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done Those pages do not appear to be protected in any manner, and you should have no trouble editing them without being confirmed - your account is "active" the moment you create it - it simply has a few limitation for 4 days/10 edits, and those limitations should not be affecting you (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:15, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Could I please have my account confirmed. I am writing a page about an ancester of significance whom I have researched. I wish to add more than one photo, which I own and were all taken nearly a century ago. I have not made 10 revisions under my username so don't have appropriate permissions to upload photos, however I have made many revisions using my IP address over the last few years. Thanks. I am updating the current areas where it's 2013 now and semi-protected by Courcelles 11 years ago (purge). Also, while I am new I am also removing vandalism. Eyesnore (talk) 05:48, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:45, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, I know I already am Autoconfirmed, but the user rights box would seem nicer with one more thing. What'cha say, people? HAPPY NEW YEAR! #MMXIII #2013 Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 07:02, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I currently have 4 edits. I wish to add images that I have clicked in the article Hans Raj CollegeHans_Raj_College Can I please have my user status confirmed. Pyrpakan (talk) 13:38, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Question - What is the copyright status of the image(s) or file(s) you wish to use? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 14:02, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have clicked the images and thus I own the copyrights. (They do not need any model or property released.) After adding suitable images, I wish to add more content to make the article suitable according to the standards of Wikipedia.
Question: What do you mean by "clicked". Armbrust The Homunculus 19:11, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) I think Pyrpakan means that he/she took the pictures themselves. WikiPuppies bark dig 21:13, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm requesting confirmed for my alternative account mainly as a preemptive action, since my long-term personal plans have me using public internet connections and/or computers extremely often. Happy New Year. WikiPuppies in the crate 18:02, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
