European Journal recently (February 2013) reoported that at the time it was constucted it was the largest powerhouse in the world. Grand Coulee has three powerhouses so the largest powehouse at the time I would think is Chief Joseph's powerhouse which is 2,039 feet long and produces about 2620 megawatts. Does anyone know the dimensions of Iron Gate's powerhouse. Maybe it was the largest my size and not by generation.
