You can't be first, but you can be next

This page claims Luke was first Asian actor to play Charlie Chan. This page says otherwise. Which one's wrong? TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 17:22, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's wrong about Keye Luke being the first Asian actor to portray Charlie Chan. The character was played by a Japanese and then a Korean in the late 20s before Warner Oland took over the role in 1931. Keye Luke was the first actor of Chinese descent to portray Charlie Chan.
