User:KASchmidt

I need to edit the [Jimmy Pardo] article, which I have noticed is not complete. Furthermore my account is several years old and for some reason I do not have the autoconfirmed status KASchmidt (talk) 03:36, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Question: I see that you account is an "Implicit member of: Autoconfirmed users". What message do you see when you actually try to edit a semi-protected page? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:31, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's a "you do not have permission to edit this page" notice. I confirmed it's the same notice users who are not logged in get. I'm getting the feeling this is some cookie management problem maybe? KASchmidt (talk) 21:55, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
      • Try again, I changed the protection from semi to pending changes. GB fan 22:36, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am trying to upload a photo to an article written about my great-grandfather Willy Reske on wikipedia. I only wish to put his photo on the page as his biographical information is currently entered there. Can you help? Cshayne (talk) 10:38, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Need to make small revisions to the World Trade Center page to reflect World Trade Centers Association's rights in the term. MAH1029 (talk) 14:53, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done This appears to be a controversial change as evidenced by the discussion you started on the talk page. You should continue to discuss this to get a consensus of the changes needed before implementing those changes. GB fan 15:42, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Pilgrimsdaughter

I wish to create an article about a musician. I just opened my account Pilgrimsdaughter (talk) 18:18, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done You do not need to be confirmed to create an article. Before you create the article you should read WP:FIRST. This is a page that discusses how to create a page and guidelines for the page. You should also become familiar with WP:Notability and WP:BAND, these are the notability guidelines that would apply to a musician. GB fan 18:52, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Stargrl

Reason for requesting confirmed rights Stargrl (talk) 19:12, 3 June 2013 (UTC) I would like to change the account picture for Emma Watson to File:Emma Watson Cannes 2013.jpg[reply]
  • Question - You appear to be confirmed already. Could you please explain what message(s) you see/problems you're having that make you think that you are not? GB fan 19:18, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Indegoot

I need to edit the Carnival of Madness page because there is wrong information on it, no logo, and it does not cite any sources. I work for the company that owns the tour. Indegoot (talk) 19:44, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! - As per the notice at the top of this page, this type of file can be uploaded using the Files for Upload process which will not require advanced permissions Also you have a conflict of interest, I would suggest you read, Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
