Reviewer/Article Feedback Reviewer

(add requestview requests)

User:OwenEarth

I am requesting reviewer rights because sadly I don't have much time for making many edits, but wish to continue assisting other Wikipedians. Therefore have taken up time on reviewing feedback instead. I would like the right to be a reviewer so I can hide any spam, ridiculous or offensive feedback as it doesn't belong here on Wikipedia OwenEarth (talk) 14:31, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. You have only made 76 mainspace edits and that is not sufficient fur us to apply any metrics to your level of knowledge required for reviewing edits. Perhaps you would like to rack up a couple of hundred vandalism reverts, or do some New page patrolling and then apply again here for reviewer rights. Okay, I always forget that it's only my English language edits that will be counted for things like these! I might apply again in half a year or so if I become more active, thanks for your response though. OwenEarth (talk) 17:05, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hard-working Wikipedian with a reputable edit history looking for review privileges. I understand the role and already spend a lot of my time patrolling for obvious vandalism on pages that I watch. I came across an article today that had the "pending review" feature enabled, which has led me to this request. Thank you. --GoneIn60 (talk) 22:51, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Already doing a great deal of anti-vandalism work. I believe it's about time for me to do more for this project. RacerX11 Talk to meStalk me 00:01, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'd love to help out articles more by reviewing to make sure that the pending changes edits are appropriate and are helpful to the article(s) in question. I just read up on reviewing and pending changes and I'd love to help out more. One more reviewer means one more person to make sure that the right things are going into the articles. • While I respect WorldTraveller's desire to help out more, it is my opinion that additional permissions are not a good idea, for a variety of reasons I would rather not labor. Dennis Brown |  | © | WER 14:38, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You had rollback removed by community consensus less than a month ago. I can't see granting you reviewer being a good idea. I also note that you got rollback by asking again and again, and you are doing the same thing here, this being your third request in the last two months. I would suggest you clear any further requests with your adopter first. Beeblebrox (talk) 14:54, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I work for the Federal Criminal Court of Switzerland, and my boss wants to review some pages, which in 3 out of 4 languages is already possible. We need that our page in german takes our changes immediately and not after someone else approves them. At the moment some informations are not right and we need to change them as soon as possible. The only problem is that someone else has to approva my changes and it always takes too much. I hope I applied in the right place and that you can help me. Thank you very much. Jenn.  Not done It is the wrong venue, I'm afraid. The English language version of Federal Criminal Court of Switzerland is not currently under pending changes, and we have no jurisdiction over the German version of Wikipedia or your userrights there - this is a separate project. I should add, however, that en-wiki does have policies against conflict of interest editing, and I would strongly advise you to restrict yourself to making suggestions on the article's talkpage rather than editing the page directly in the future. I wish to start reviewing whether or not nominated articles meet the "good article" criteria. Since there is an enormous backlog of articles up for this title, I am assuming WP needs all the help it can get. EnglishEfternamn*t/c* 23:04, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done This tool has nothing whatsoever to do with GA noms. Since you clearly don't know what it is for it is unlikely you need it. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:11, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Can somebody else make that decision? Because every time I request a permission of some kind, you show up immediately and say no.EnglishEfternamn*t/c* 23:18, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) There is no reason for a second opinion, Beeblebrox is correct, nothing at WP:PERM has anything remotely to do with the GA or FA process. Mlpearc (powwow) 23:30, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, now that you mention it it appears I did decline to grant you rollback [1] but it certainly wasn't "right away" in fact your request went unanswered for three days. That doesn't change the fact that this request shows no understanding of this tool. I assure it isn't anything personal, I don't recall ever having any interaction with you other than these two requests, but I'll leave your current reuest for rollback for someone else to review. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:52, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ehh. It's fine. I'm withdrawing that request for now and will put it back up when my contribs better speak for themselves.EnglishEfternamn*t/c* 00:06, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
