File mover

(add requestview requests)
I do small cleanup here and there. It would be nice to have this right to speed up the process. Thank you DarkFrog (talk) — 13:00, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I want to move the file "File:His Law of Ours and Other Essays book cover.jpg" to "File:This Law of Ours and Other Essays book cover.jpg". It is just a humanly mistake where I erroneously typed "His" instead of "This". The file will go to page This Law of Ours and Other Essays Fasi100 (talk) 14:46, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Hello Fasi, I moved the file for you. You might want to read here on how you can ask for files to be renamed. Widr (talk) 15:22, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(non-admin closure)  Not done As per above comment/observation. Hamham31Heke! 02:53, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am an OTRS volunteer on permissions-en and frequently run into instances where users have uploaded files with poor naming conventions. The examples that stick out the most are typos of the subject's name in photos for BLP and biography articles, as well as groups of files from the same corpus, the artist, or source material, that are erratically named. Because I spend a lot of time updating files once I've obtained an appropriate license, I'd be happy to do a little more work to rename files that are considered unstable. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 21:01, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
