Image copyright problem with Image:BlackPirate33.jpg

The image Image:BlackPirate33.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.

Captain Nemo

As far as I know, Nemo was not defined as a pirate in the books. Unless I find something stating otherwise within the week, I will be deleting him from letter "N". Dasmarinas71 (talk) 22:22, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Pirates of Penzance

Should they, or the Pirate King, be mentioned here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.115.220.234 (talk) 03:09, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Only captains

Is it true that this article (list) only lists pirates who are captains of their ships or are in a 'commander' rank? (excluding lower class or rank pirates) --189.216.220.50 (talk) 07:50, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WTF is This shit?

Severe lack of One Piece. WIkipedia I am dissapoint

Unnecessary Info

I noticed the listing for "Cervantes deLeon" from the 'Soul Calibur' games has a huge amount of exposition. The editor is obviously a fan, but much of that information is completely unnecessary on this page (and is better suited for the Soul Calibur entry). I'll be cleaning it up, unless someone has a legitimate objection to it.72.94.21.217 (talk) 17:37, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
