Manipal or Mangalore?

His digree is in Electrical and Electronics engineering. That time Manipal Institute of technology was affiliated to Mangalore University. This article says his EE degree is from Mangalore University. Sumana Harihareswara 15:38, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It seems according to Mangalore_University#History that there was some transfer of Mangalore University colleges: " In 1993, the Manipal associated colleges were transferred to Manipal University." Maybe that's the reason? We should probably go with what Microsoft and BBC say as "Mangalore University" -- Fuzheado | Talk 18:22, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Manipal Institute of Technology was affiliated to Mangalore University before it became a deemed university in 1993 and he graduated before that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.55.54.40 (talk) 21:53, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Please change Nadella was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India in a Telugu Brahmin family to Nadella was born in Bukkapuram Village Yellanur Mandal of Ananthapur District , Andhra Pradesh, India in a Telugu Kamma family because it is an error as per sources below"

Blogspots cannot be accepted as valid sources and the other source is not in english, are there any other sources which show this information ?

While in the article there is atleast one english news article (APherald) which supports the current information on the article. Please provide better sources and also explain why the sources already present are wrong ?
Marchoctober (talk) 03:19, 5 February 2014 (UTC) AP Herald is a dubious tabloid website and has no authenticity while eenadu is the largest circulated Telugu daily newspaper in the entire world. Not even a close contest. Highly recommend adding the eenadu reference 38 to the Telugu Family word in the early life.[reply]

Marchoctober you are indulging in garbage talk!!! The largest circulated Telugu news daily in the entire world is Eenadu and it strongly provides a justification that Nadella was NOT born in a Brahmin family. Pray tell us Matchoctober as to what is the overwhelming evidence that Nadella is a Brahmin.

Needless Controversy over Manipal Institute of Technology and Mangalore University. From 1980 to 2000 , ( the time period when Satya Nadella Graduated from manipal Institute of Technology ) , this institute was part of Mangalore University. For Citations refer to the wiki article on Manipal Institte of technology. [1] Section : growth and expansion.

The links [3] and [8] quoted next to Nadella being born in to a Telugu family should be removed. AP herald is a dubious gossip website and according to Eenadu the largest circulated Telugu daily newspaper in the world, Nadella definitely was not born in a Brahmin family.
