Suggestion to include detail on compatible media formats

There are restrictions on video resolution, codec and container format that the xbox 360 will play. This also depends on the protocol or media used. Should cite this Microsoft MSDN blog which has a comprehensive FAQ:

I think this should be included/referenced in the multimedia section.

Introduction

The release of these additional services and peripherals helped the Xbox brand grow from gaming-only to encompassing all multimedia, turning it into a hub for living-room computing environment.[1][2][3][4][5]

"all media" by itself is too generic, so please do not delete the more detailed term(s) used in The Verge and Techradar.Limefrost Spiral (talk) 21:31, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is VGchartz a reliable sales source?

I noticed that it has been used in other gaming articles and I am not sure that the info is reliable so i wanted to double check here to be sure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tigersuperman (talkcontribs) 19:38, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

VGchartz should never be cited in terms of sales, at all. Do you know of an article where this has been done? MrAdaptive343 (talk) 17:08, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Strange wording

In the final sentence of 'Sales' subsection.

The Xbox 360 performed even more poorly, selling only 1.5 million units from 2005 to 2011.[35] Edge magazine reported in August 2011 that initially lacklustre and subsequently falling sales in Japan, where Microsoft had been unable to make serious inroads into the dominance of domestic rivals Sony and Nintendo, had led to retailers scaling down and in some cases discontinuing sales of the Xbox 360 completely.[53]

Isn't this worded very strangely? Possibly in a non-neutral manner. At least, it should be explained, "In Japan, the Xbox 360 performed even more poorly..." instead of being taken for granted. It also takes for granted that European sales were poor, shouldn't the previous paragraph be amended to make a direct note of it?
