Dear Wikipedia. I created wikipedia account for the first time about my school. I have mistakenly created two different accounts with the same name which was not looking appropriate on web so I created this one finally. I want to add logo/seal on my Wikipedia talk/page. but it says you need 4 days minimum. What should I do? Please reply. Regards. Little Folks Secondary School (talk) 02:00, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. You're kidding, right? If you want to be an administrator, get several thousand edits under your belt over a period of several months (or years) to demonstrate your experience, and apply for administrator privileges at Wikipedia:Request for adminship. Otherwise, if you just want to contribute images, please see the big box at the top of this page for instructions on your alternatives. ~Amatulić (talk) 06:37, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've been working the last 13 years on Wikipedia, I've been member of Rock Music Project and several other projects, given my track record, is there a special editorial control, I can have on Rock Music and Library topics in my field..? Just asking, just editing is fantastic, but what special help I can provide...? Just editing is fine, but I want to have sometimes... more control over what I am doing and help differently over other people's edits. Given my track record, what other respected editors will say...? What special functions I can get to embetter Wikipedia. Given my skills and track record - what you say...? Respect! All the best! The Mad Hatter (talk) 19:40, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, nothing to do in the context of this page. You already have confirmed status.
You have a lot of main space edits, but you hardly ever provide edit summaries to explain your edits, and you have very few edits on talk pages. In fact you have more edits to your own user page than all talk pages combined. This track record tells me that you are not really here as a collaborator, because collaboration requires communication, and I see little evidence of that. Also the track record of your previous account 'Painbearer' shows an extensive block log showing difficulty working with the Wikipedia community.
So the question is, what permissions do you think you need? You need to specify what you mean by "more control" over what you are doing. Nobody else controls you. You do that yourself. What more would you possibly need? ~Amatulić (talk) 19:56, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I am sorry, I am not saying I am perfect, I might be as unorthodox in my editing, but I am mostly following the ethic be bold, because I sometimes need for actions rather than talking about them. I was merely proposing how I can get more involved with the reviewing and structuring articles in technical way, I am not familiar with the different tools I can get, I was showing interest, master Amatulic, also I made quite as many edits as in my younger years, when I was a bit hotheaded in my opinions, but I am mostly trying to be expressive and creative contributor to Wikipedia, I am not trying to throw myself to you. I admit my narcissism in that track that I like to express my creativity through my profile. I also made around 5500 anonymous edits, through contributions back in 2001-2004 before I sign as user, and I admit my narcissism a bit... I am sorry, I am trying to progress as contributor in the future, I am just suggesting how can I become more useful to Wikipedia... because you see, Wikipedia is my life... All the best! Regards: The Mad Hatter (talk)

Reason for requesting confirmed rights: I am a new user but I am a real human being, and wish to be added as a confirmed user. Thank you. TheDumbMoney (talk) 02:15, 17 May 2014 (UTC)TheDumbMoney[reply]
UPDATE: I realized after posting this that I'll automatically be confirmed in four days. I apologize for the inconvenience, but don't see how to delete this post entirely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheDumbMoney (talkcontribs) 02:16, 17 May 2014‎

Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! Armbrust The Homunculus 08:32, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Wikipedia! I sincerely hope someone can confirm my account (unless it has been autoconfirmed when I'm not present). I am working on a page here about my community and would love to be able to upload an image I have made myself with Adobe Illustrator. I own the CC and Copyright of it, of course. I even work as a photographer so it is a must for me to have copyrights. The community is newly launched and we are still searching for more members. We have a Facebook group and a page, a group on Flickr, Twitter account and as well a forums (under construction as we speak). Anyways, I'd be happy to be able to work more with this as soon as possible. Kindest Regards. MiskaSaarikko (talk) 12:41, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions.
