Gehana Vasisth(born 16june 1993) is an Indian Film Actress and Model.[1][2][3][4][5] After working for several brands as a model she was crowned as Miss Asia Bikini via an online contest.Her First Advertisement as a Model was for Monte Carlo brand Then philips arena ,chevrolet cruize car ,dream stone jwellery,palak sarees and many more.She did more then 70 Advertisements.Gehana Vasisth later entered film industry through a movie called Filmi Duniya and later on flourished her reach to Tollywood where she performed a hand full of Lead roles.


Early Life

Gehana vasisth was born in a very small town chirimiri Chhattisgarh ,into a very strict and religious Brahmin Family.Her Family Conditions were much orthodox so that she could even dream about her current lifestyle at the earlier stages of her life.Her mother Sita Tiwari Was a Doctor and Father Sri Ravindra Tiwari was a wellfare officer and a highly honest person ,whom in his whole life he has never supported any wrong thing .[6][7]

She has one younger sister Namrata and 2 younger brothers Vedant and Sankalp Tiwari and grand mother is the retired principle of Arera convent school.Her Actual Name was Vandana Tiwari and after entering into Modeling feild she changed her name to Gehana Vasisth.Her freinds call her 'Zindagi' which is her nick name.[8]

According to Gehana Vasisth , she was very simple but highly ambitious in her childhood.She was bold in her character and she never wanted to get married in her life .Young Gehana just had one dream that she wanted to be the part of Indian Army so that then she can work wholeheartedly for her country, but as she was from a typical strict Brahmin Family so was not easy to convince her parents who believed a Girl can't led a life on Army Backgrounds.Her father wanted to make her an Engineer and Mother wanted to make her a Doctor.[9]

Career

She has done her basic schooling from Chirimiri Chhattisgarh and higher from Bhopal Madhya Pradesh .Later she fullfilled her Father's wish Via completing Engineering from IITMumbai in Computer science.Gehana was extremely good in her studies. She was a gold medalist in robotics at a National level Competition.After completing her Engineering she got small training for teacher ship from Saint Francis Engineering college .[10]

Later she moved on to Modelling field which was a passion for her even since the college days.she started her Modelling Carrier via an Advertisement for Montecarlo brand.She Then flourished on to stage via doing a number of [[Advertisements[[ as a lead Model.Later on she worked as a Model for Several international Brands Like 'philips arena', 'chevrolet cruize car , 'dreamstone jwellery', 'palak sarees' and many more.She Did about 70 Advertisements[11][12]

Television

Her life took a sudden Turn when she was introduced as an anchor in Sahara One Television Channel.The Audiences and Critics were mostly overwhelmed by her Performance as an anchor.Later she did a lead role in the Serial "Behanein" on Star Plus and appeared on True Life show on MTV.[13][14][15]

Miss Asia Bikini

Gehana came to limelight as she won Miss Asia Bikini contest of 2012,where she out numbered thousands of other entries and became a pride for Indian Modelling feild.Gehana Vasisth polled the maximum number of votes in an online contest and was selected as the bikini model to represent India.She was crowned as Miss Asia Bikini of the 2012 and was much hyped.[16][17][18]

Personal Life and Dreams

Gehana vasisth says "I have only and only 1 dream that I want to be a top actress of Bollywood and I always follow the footstep of Shah Rukh Khan, he is my mentor my guru my dream. He was not from a filmy background but because of his hard work and passion , he became superstar of our film industry".[19] Her dream is to work with Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar in near future.
