Pending changes reviewer

User:Jerodlycett

I want to assist when I come across something during my actions with WP:WCW. Jerodlycett (talk) 02:47, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not done While it's important in its own right, most of your contribution history consists of semi-automated minor edits that make it difficult to judge your understanding of policy. By all means please keep up the productive work, but from the looks of it pending changes reviewer may not be that beneficial to you anyway. MusikAnimal talk 04:59, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've been on Wikipedia for many years and have really started to get my feet wet in the past few months. I'm now past 7,000 edits and spend some of my time doing anti-vandalism work. In my journeys I've come across quite some articles with pending changes and I'd like to add reviewing those pending changes to my daily Wikipedia routine. I've got a clean block log, no vandalism, a good community record, and I enjoy working with other users to forge consensus when appropriate. I think this makes me a strong candidate for pending changes reviewer status. Thanks for taking the time to vet me. wia (talk) 04:42, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have been a member of Wikipedia for a couple of years, but have only been truly active for a few months. Two months ago I was granted the rollback right (without requesting it), and I think I have been prudent in its use. I have a few articles on my watchlist that are subject to pending revisions, so I would like the ability to approve/reject revisions when they pop up there or in the recent changes page, which I also look at quite often. I think my track record is reasonable evidence of my judgement. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 00:54, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello all. I'm Quinto Simmaco, otherwise known as Symmachus here on-wiki (and on IRC). I initially joined Wikipedia a decade ago (you can see from my previous [albeit inaccessible] account here), but recently revisited my interest in the project, and I've become quite active since then. Aside from "WikiGnoming", most of my activities thus far have been focused on areas related to editor retention, reviving the Great American Wiknic project, and welcoming and helping new users. I daresay I've actually learned quite a bit from those experiences in such a short time (especially helping others, as a matter of necessity). While a rollbacker, I usually don't actively seek out vandalism, but I have indeed found the right useful on occasion when I do encounter it. However, I think the reviewer privilege would be one that I would likely use on a regular basis. If we're already acquainted, then you know my commitment to the integrity of this project, and my desire to see the reliability of accuracy of information on Wikipedia improve. I look forward to helping the project in this way as well. Quinto Simmaco (talk) 02:56, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm requesting reviewer rights so as to help improve the integrity of all articles and to hopefully better help other new editors to understand the legitimacy, or not, of their most recent edits. I've always scanned articles for verifiable claims/citations and edited when need be. Thank you for considering my request. Snickers2686 (talk) 18:41, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
