Pakuba Airport (IATA: PAF, ICAO: HUPA) is an airport serving Pakuba,[1] in Nwoya District in northern Uganda. Pakuba Airport has one runway measuring 1,685 metres (5,528 ft) in length.[1] It is a small civilian airport that serves Murchison Falls National Park.

The airport is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda. It is one of the five upcountry airports that are authorized to handle cross-border air traffic from member countries of the East African Community, as part of efforts to promote tourism within Eastern Africa.[2]

Location

Pakuba Airport is approximately 275 kilometres (171 mi), by air, northwest of Entebbe International Airport, the country’s largest civilian and military airport. This location is approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Kabalega Falls Airport.[3]
