Kabalega Falls Airport (IATA: KBG, ICAO: HUKF) is an airport located near Murchison Falls (aka Kabalega Falls) in Uganda.[1] The airport resides at an elevation of 2,365 feet (721 m) above mean sea level and has one runway measuring 1,585 metres (5,200 ft) in length.[1]
Kabalega Falls (Murchison Falls) is a waterfall on the Victoria Nile river, located within the Kabarega National Park (Murchison Falls National Park). The waterfall and park are named for Kabarega (1853-1923), also known as Kabalega, the Omukama of Bunyoro from 1869 to 1898.
