Australian Ecology Research Award

Hi TYelliott. Thank you for categorizing the wiki that I created for AERA , an award based on the Robert H MacArthur award (which also has a wiki). If you had the time, I would be grateful if you could review the same. I would also appreciate any feedback on how better to get any parts of the wiki to conform to Wikipedia guidelines.

Patrolling

Hi TYelliot. I saw that you recently patrolled Binimetinib, a page I created. I've tried to read more about patrolling but haven't found much. Could you explain what this means for the page and anything else you might consider useful to know? I'm a longtime reader of Wiki but a fairly new contributor. Thank you very much. Gtpase (talk)

Hello TYelliot. I wanted to let you know, that you removing my recent contribution to Kosovo Security Force is wrong, and heres why.Kosovo and the Illiran people have a long millitary tradition of employing Goats in suicide charges straped with 50KG of plastic explosive (In ancient times urns with oil that had a fuse light on fire woud work),and that you are currently activly guting the history of my people.Heres a tale recounted by a Kosovo war veteran(From the Serbian side):"Let me ask you something, reporter.Have you ever been charged by a rabid goat?Beacuse untill you have you will never know the true horrors of war.My entire family was slaughterd by suicide goats.Over the hill they came, madness and hatred gleaming in their soulless eyes. There was nothing that coud stop them, before we coud turn and flee they were upon us,bleating and stamping, they ravaged us without mercy,i only escaped to tell the tale,as one of the goats detonated setting a chain reaction, that killed my family while i was at a safe distance.

Kachhi (caste)

Hello TYelliot. Hello, I'm TYelliot. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Kachhi (caste)— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 21:46, 1 April 2015 (UTC) I wanted to let you know that words and explanation for Kachhi caste is wrong and i have details to correct it. Can you please correct it. The Wicked + The Divine

You reverted one of my edits-- it's clearly canon and the cite for the sentence following applies. In every context in The Wicked + The Divine so far, Tara is referred to as "fucking Tara."

this isn't cam, I swear 23:31, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

That appears to be true according to what some readers posted on their social media sites. However, I don't believe this is a useful addition to the article. In any case, social media sites are not reliable sources. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 07:41, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

Thank you for reverting Vandalism.

Speedy deletion declined: Rural College Kanakapura

Hello TYelliot. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Rural College Kanakapura, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to schools. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 22:40, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Northern Response

Hi TYelliot - I received your note that you have tagged my post on "Northern Response" for speedy deletion. You mentioned in your note that there were various reasons for your tagging. Would it be possible for you to expand on them, so I can better understand the reasoning? If there are changes I should make, I'd be happy to do so. Thank you, Bobjacksson. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Response)

I stated that the subject of the article, Northern Response, did not meet Wikipedia's notability policy on organisations. Also it appeared to me that the article was written with the intention of promoting the subject. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 07:20, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Gray Zeitz has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. —Largo Plazo (talk) 19:06, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Patrolled

I Got a message saying you patrolled my artice i made. Whats that mean exactly?

It means that I have reviewed the article and have found no pressing issues that may lead to its deletion, e.g. lack of references, lack of notability etc. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 19:31, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it a little further, and removed the speedy deletion tag. . Please do the following to make it look more like the usual WP article on academics:

  1. check that each distinction is mentioned only once. If any of the fellowships are relatively minor, omit them
  2. Add a complete list of all his published books in reverse chronological order, formatted as a list. If any of them won prizes, give the reference & and omit from list of honours
  3. Try to find the basic biographic information: Place and date of birth, degree at Antwerp, country and city where he lives. Date of marriage & name of spouse, if available.
  4. Try to find doctoral advisor/chair of doctoral committee, Add it, with a reference link whether or not there is aready an article. Try to find exact title of his doctoral thesis. As a European thesis, it was probably published. DGG ( talk ) 19:46, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, will try do as best I can. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 22:09, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
